"This is one of the most relaxing places I've holidayed. The apartment has everything we could have asked for and more. The gardens and pool were delightful and the view from the balcony across to the mountains set the scene perfectly.

This was an ideal base from which to explore the area, there's something for everyone nearby, from the hustle and bustle of the markets were you can buy wonderful fresh produce to the quiet sandy beaches that go on for miles.

This was my second visit to the apartment and I have already booked my third visit, this time for 2 weeks. I would happily recommend it to couples for a romantic break or for a family who are looking for affordable luxury that suits the whole family.

Getting out and about in the car you can experience the real Spain, the region has so much for you to explore.

"We found the apartment to be everything we could have wished for. Well equipped, tastefully furnished and spacious. We spent many hours on the apartments large sun terraces, where we often ate, and enjoyed the view.

There are some good restaurants nearby, but most of all we enjoyed preparing our own meals, chosen from the wonderful selection of fresh food at the Mercadona supermarket just down the road.

With Garrucha, Vera town, Mojacar playa and Mojacar ancient hilltop village all within a short driving distance from Al Andalus Resort and each with their
own charming mix of beaches, harbour, tapas bars and markets - I know we shall return."

“The apartment is situated in a beautiful complex, complete with well tended gardens and a lovely pool. It is furnished to a very high standard and the air-conditioning was a godsend during our visit last July.

The views from the two balconies, which provide both sun and shade throughout the day, are superb and the complex is in an ideal spot to base your visit to the real Spain. It is worth exploring the surrounding area which provides long unspoilt sandy beaches as well as some challenging roads when you travel inland but reward you with some stunning views of the mountains.

The ancient hilltop village of Mojacar was our favourite place to visit in the evening, providing live entertainment in the square and several excellent restaurants.”

‘A stylish and very well equipped apartment with every home comfort. The spacious sun terraces get the sun all day and enjoy a commanding view of the whole complex, surrounding countryside and coast. The pool is just steps away and is cleaned every morning. Because the complex is private and secure the children could safely play in the pool and play areas without our supervision (and we could still see them from the terrace). Of the many holiday destinations we have visited this was one of the best. The local residents were very welcoming and helpful despite my poor Spanish and everywhere was very ‘family friendly’. A wonderful climate and breathtaking scenery. I have already recommended this apartment to friends and family and hope to return in 2008!’

The modern apartment with comprehensive amenities allowed us to settle in, feel at home and extremely relaxed immediately.

The Mercadona supermarket is amazing with everything that you need and more and so cost effective for a family.

The 2 large sun terraces make the apartment stand out from the rest providing a great view with privacy too. The view of the pool is a huge advantage for families with children.

The location is perfect for exploring a variety of beaches, small towns and attractions. The water park is a great day out and very close and the nearby go-carting great fun for all ages. Visiting the picturesque, hillside village of Mojacar on an evening was our favourite place as it is quaint with amazing views and dozens of shops and restaurants.

Highly recommend a stay here as there is something to suit all ages and groups.

Just got back from spending a brilliant week at the Al Andalus resort. The apartment was stunning with lovely views of the mountains, the weather was marvelous, I could not have asked for any more. I will definitely be going back next year, but not for a week, but ten days, in fact I could live there!

It was so relaxing, there was lots to see and do if you wanted, or just relax and stay round the pool, which we did most days. A visit to the little town of Vera is a must just to see the fruit and vegetables on the market, they tasted wonderful and the Spanish people are really friendly and helpful.
